The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things about our day-to-day lives, including dental appointments. Your health and safety are as important to us as they are to you. Every concern you’ve had, we’ve had too. As your dentists, we have reviewed all of the expert guidance and research to make sure we’re taking every measure to keep patients and staff safe.
Here’s what you can expect in our office:
To make sure patients are healthy, our team may call you to ask some health related questions before your scheduled visit.
High touch items like toys and magazines are removed from the waiting room and operatories.
To limit patient contact we are limiting the use of the waiting room. All patients are escorted to operatories. We are limiting number of people you bring with you in the office.
Additional cleaning and sanitation measures will be done after each patient leaves to prepare the space for you.
Increased cleaning protocols are incorporated in high touch areas such as pens clipboards, credit card machine.
The dental team is wearing additional protective equipment. Staff follows additional safety protocols such as daily health screenings. This includes taking their temperature to make sure they don’t have a fever and asking them series of health related questions each day to make sure there not experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19.
At your appointment you will be required to wear face covering when you come in the office face mask should be worn when leaving the office as well.
The dental team will take your temperature. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer before and after your appointment.
